Albion Online Mechanic: Boredom for player characters

I believe that the player driver economy needs a strong interdependence and that most players should be Buy Albion Online Gold unable to maintain self-sustainability in a competetive environment. I want a world of politics and a game where players build an identity in their characters and build social connections with other players. To this end, I would like to introduce a mechanic designed to discourage the use of multiaccounting in order to overcome the current issues with getting selfsustainable.

Mechanic: Boredom for player characters

By defining what normal gameplay is and what every player regardless of playstyle is expected to do in the game, we can set the standards for what it means for a player character to avoid boredom/stay happy. I suggest we start with three very simple and easy to understand actions:

1) Travel between any open-world zones
2) Farm any T2 or higher resource
3) Engage in any T2 or higher combat

Every time each of these actions are taken by a player character, that character should update a timestamp that stores when they last performed each of these actions. Should any of these three timestamps indicate that a player character has not been engaging in normal activity in the recent past (I suggest the last 4 hours as a starting value before this is balanced based on how the players play), the player should recieve negative buffs that lower quality of crafts, lowers yield from crafting and otherwise penalize the behavious which can be defined as the abuse of multiaccounting.

A player character that is bored should display an indicator showing what it would like to do, based on the activity with the most severe inactivity. When performing the activity the timestamp gets updated and the player character is no longer bored Cheap Albion Online Gold for that particular reason.

What problem does this change affect?

Basically, it mitigates the abuse of learning points and player islands within guilds by incentivizing the recruitment of real players that want to focus on any given economy related specialization instead of having a guild leader/member login and logout regulary to alt accounts in order to perform the work that makes the economy interdependent. By balancing how strong the negative effect is, the length of time before boredom starts and what factors trigger boredom you change the costs of multiaccounting in order to gain independence from others or bypass game restrictions which will make at least some of the current abusers change their behavior and regain dependence on the overall economy.

Aka Albion Online World PvP

Dobby is here to tell you a story, he is.

Lesigh, to start off Dobby Albion Online Gold played dead in Harry Potter because Harry Potter started relying on Dobby too much. Dobby is not dead irl. Dobby promises.

That aside, Dobby is going to tell you why he has come to Albion instead because Dobby has still yet to play. Dobby does plans to keep this thread active to tell his adventures, he promises.

Lesigh, Dobby wishes to tell you the story of his childhood. He was born in Lindon. Why is that important? Dobby is neighbors with the Greenleaf Family. Dobby would like to take this time to note that many people do not know who the Greenleaf family is. But in short, Dobby was neighbors with Legolas. Although Legolas and his family moved to Mirkwood, Dobby did go to school with Legolas.

Dobby was always bullied by Legolas, he is still emotionally scarred. Dobby is a grey elf, but Dobby was an outcast and picked on because he could do magic. Besides the fact that Dobby lost most of hair in by the age of 18, lesigh, and at the age of 87 Dobby has still yet to grow any hair while Legolas has kept all of his while being the same age.

But maybe Dobby is at fault; Dobby does prank Leggy a lot. Dobby can use teleport and invisibility magic, he loves playing tricks on Leggy. Last time, Dobby stole all of Leggy’s socks, and he got mad, his dad banished me and now Dobby has no home and has been bumming it in Hogwarts.

Lesigh, well anyways, Dobby’s goal in Albion is to have his own epic and make a name for himself in Albion, so one day he can return to Mirkwood.

Hilarious. Never could get into D&D due to the aforementioned types of scenarios… that and none of those kids played sports (aka World PvP). imo, RP should be based off real things happening in the game, environmental (PvP/PvE), political, economic, or lore based– otherwise you’re just being silly.

Some tips for those new to RP:
Don’t immediately being RPing as a King, princess, or some type of royalty… that would imply that we’re all inbred.
Don’t think your backstory needs to include your entire family being slaughtered.
There is generally a loose hierarchy in the RP world. May be good to know.
Don’t feed trolls (“lol omg RP is gay!”). Report repeated harassment and say a prayer for their ignorant soul. We’re all pretending to be some guy running around in a fictional world and somehow we’re luny for adding commentary?
Have fun and feel free to change or tweak your backstory, accent, etc., remember it’s just a game.
Please don’t ERP in public, or preferably at all. Remember, every Cheap Albion Online Gold player is a dude or deceptive creature escaped from an abandoned mine shafts until proven otherwise.
